Rear Suspension

The rear suspension is assembled around an magnesium alloy upright. The assembly of the bearings and inner spacer in particular requires special tooling and is done for you before delivery. An EN16T washer and special locking nut hold the assembly together and both should be replaced when the unit is dismantled. For applications where a handbrake is not required the original Girling NR callipers can be suplied. When a handbrake is required an alternative Ford part can be used without modification to the upright. The spring rating, ride height and brake linings can be specified to suit your requirements. The suspension is fully adjustable and rose jointed as original. All suspension parts can be provided nickel plated upon request. |
