Our continued support for customers who require spares for their original cars or who wish to re-create an accurate reproduction, perhaps for FIA HTP certification, our efforts continue undaunted. Our Reproduction Lotus 23 is now available with a brand new reproduction Lotus 23 Twin Cam engine in race tune and fitted with new Hewland gearbox. This represents, for the first time, the ability to build a fully new reproduction and built to a fully competitive state of tune.

Chassis for all variants of ‘23 can be supplied, though our standard product is in ‘23b guise. All chassis are built to original specifications of tubing and are bronze brazed as they were originally. Variations are available on request and we recommend up rating the tube gauges of critical components such as wishbones for safety. Magnesium alloy rear uprights and ‘Wobbly Web’ wheels are available in Electron® AZ81 material as used in the aerospace industry as well as for many other more modern race cars. Body shells are specified in a lightweight single layer glass fibre for racing but a more durable heavier set can be specified as required. These are of a quality that allows a very presentable finish when left as gel coat and are as used on many original cars. A wide range of colours are available. |
